The GATE Reports promote quality-driven capacity building in the European (and global) Open Science community over time
Data collected by the GATE Service is being evaluated continuously (see Researcher), structured and disseminated back to the community via GATE Reports, effectively synthesising knowledge about current guiding thoughts and practices in Open Science annually.
These reports facilitate knowledge sharing among communities such as researchers and communities in education and practice, policy makers, infrastructure providers, and research funding organisations, allowing them to keep themselves informed, regularly update their understanding and to respond effectively; they may embrace, modify, or distance themselves from the communicated developments, practices and disparities and thus improve their decision-making and (educational) activities on Open Science.
Read about the benefits for individual Research communities here and GATE’s Report on first Community meeting.
Supports targeted Open Science capacity building by annually informing the research ecosystem
The Reports disseminate GATE’s findings target-group specific and regularly, with the first report expected early 2026.
